•Key Responsibilities Prepare and review detailed designs for railway and highway infrastructure projects. Develop horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and corridor designs. Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation. Perform and review engineering calculations related to roads, railways, earthworks, drainage, and related infrastructure. Coordinate with survey, geotechnical, structural, drainage, and other engineering disciplines. Review design drawings and ensure compliance with applicable standards and project requirements. Assist with quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates. Participate in technical meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors. Identify design issues and propose practical engineering solutions. Ensure designs meet applicable railway/highway standards. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of relevant experience in railway and/or highway/road design. Strong knowledge of transportation infrastructure design principles. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar design software. Knowledge of road/rail alignment, grading, earthworks, drainage, and geometric design. Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings and technical documentation. Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team. Knowledge of relevant international design standards is an advantage. Previous experience on large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred. Fluency in Azerbaijani and English
